O2 Apollo Manchester tickets & upcoming events

If you’re after a legendary live music experience in Manchester, the O2 Apollo is where it’s at. This venue has been a staple of the city’s music scene for decades, hosting iconic acts like The Inspiral Carpets back in 1989 during the mad rush of the Madchester era. Originally opened as a cinema way back in 1938, it got a facelift in the 1980s and transformed into a buzzing concert hall. One of the coolest things about the Apollo is its big balcony – perfect for catching the action from above and getting great views no matter where you sit. And if you really want to splurge, those premium boxes are a game-changer – they give you a more private, almost VIP vibe, ideal for special nights out. Getting there is a breeze too; just head north on Deansgate towards Peter’s Street. It’s super close to the Manchester Royal Infirmary, so you can’t really miss it. Whether you’re catching Kevin Bridges in the front row, enjoying some VIP treatment with Greg Davies, or just grabbing a budget ticket for Jools Holland’s bluesy tunes, the Apollo’s lineup never disappoints. Honestly, it’s a place where unforgettable memories are made – so don’t miss out on experiencing the energy live. Trust me, once you’ve been there, you’ll see why it’s a Manchester legend.
